Aesir-class Corvette - The "Zavits"

During the height of its use, the Aesir-class corvette was a starship commonly used for escort, patrol, and tactical support. At 41 meters (134 ft) long and 33.5 meters (110 ft) wide, it was small, but powerful and quick.

Aesir-class vessels were usually deployed to patrol planetary systems, but were also used to escort other ships or assist in battle. Some were retrofitted to serve as transports or short-range research vessels. Typically, the Aesir-class was moderately armed, in keeping with its original purpose. It supported a crew of only ten, as most of its weapons systems were automated.

The Aesir is an older class of ship now, and most vessels have been retired. However, some remain in use. For example, The Second Chancellor of the Uunatna Sovereignty uses an Aesir as her personal starship. Some are still used for transport or patrol.

The "Zavits", pictured here, is a personal craft that has been stripped of most of its weapons. Only the fore plasma cannons remain.
